Come out and enjoy all the farm has to offer. See why we have schools from Burnet to Houston have their field trips at Sweet Eats Fruit Farm!
Students will learn about many things around the farm depending on the season including the petting zoo animals & free range chickens.
*The farm is full of educational experiences allowing an easy self guided tour throughtout the farm.
Most groups bring a sack lunch and enjoy it at our numerous picnic tables.
This is a sample schedule of a field trip:
10:00 – 10:15 am | Arrival
10:15 – 10:35 am | Locate Tables
10:35 – 10:50 am | Free Time
11:00 am | PIG RACE
11:15 – 12:00 pm | Lunch
12:00 – 1:15 pm | Free Time
1:15 – 1:30 pm | Departure
*Actual times vary based on each group.
Weather: All of our field trip activities are outside. If it is raining we can reschedule your field trip. Staff will work with the lead teacher during the week if the forecast is calling for rain and come up with the best plan for your group.
Size: We can accommodate small (20) to large groups (up to 250) for field trips. There may be multiple field trips at the farm during the same time slots.
Price: Free reservation (REQUIRED). $10 + Tax per child. Adults & Siblings are $11 + Tax. Teachers & Bus drivers are free. This will be payed in person upon arrival. (If you’re tax exempt please bring your tax exemption form with you and we will update pricing when you arrive).
*We do have limited Title 1 pricing as a grant. It is available on a first come, first serve basis.

Q: How do I get the wavier for the parent or gaurdians signatures?
A: Once you have completed the online booking process. Sign these waivers below.
Parents who are not attending/not chaperoning should be filling this form out:
English Form: Field Trip Release Form w Statutory Waiver
Spanish Form: Field Trip Release Form w Statutory Waiver – Spanish
All other adults (that will be on the farm) should be filling this form out: Sweet Eats Waiver
- Teachers can use the school’s address.
- You will need them to print this waiver out, fill it out and turn it into the Admission’s team upon check in. They can fill one out in person too.
- Line #1 can list up to two adults (18 years and older)
- Line #2 needs to have a complete address listed
- The left lines #1 – #5 are where children can be listed, up to 5 children on one waiver.
- If the group checking in has 3 adults, they will need to turn in 2 waivers.

Q: What if it rains on the scheduled time I chose and the farm had to close?
A: We recognize that it rains, occasionally, in Texas. Stuff happens. We try to be super flexible with weather. We will be contact with you the week of if weather looks bad to potentially reschedule.

Q: When is payment collected?
A: Pease pay for your field trip in person with credit card or check (We DO NOT accept AMEX). If you have a tax exemption please bring that form with you and we will adjust pricing upon arrival. Due to weather & sick kids, we typically collect payment the day of, upon arrival. We can invoice you in advance if needed.
